Hosting the Pirae Va'a Canoe Club on Molokai
More Photos..., Uncle Herb's Place and more

Uncle Herb and Aunty Julia Hoe's Beach Place was the headquarters for our dinners. Each night we got together and talked story, played some music, stood in a circle and held hands to pray and bless our meal. After eating, we shared our music with each other and at the end of the evening, we ended with prayer.

These are photos which were taken day time after we swam at the pool with our grandchildren. You will not that "under" the green picnic table is the cemented "imu" where we cooked our Thursday meal. You will also note that there are "real" outside toilet and bath. Looking out is the ocean and the beautiful island of Lanai.

In the back of the outside tub is a tree where Honey Girl designed and built a treehouse with her grandpa's help. (Honey Girl is Uncle Herb's Grandaughter) Here are some of the photos.
