Our Ohana had the privilege of hosting Team Ra'i and the Golden Masters of Lanikai. We were able to assist in hosting Team Taniwha from Aotearoa and Team Tahara'a from Tahiti also.

Team Ra'i finished the race at 4th place and Team Tahara'a finished at 6th despite being capsized by an "over-zealous" Media Boat Captain who crossed their path from the left and in front of them. Team Tahara'a lost over 19 minutes of ground and settled for 6th place.

We enjoy serving and meeting new people each year!! The boys from Team Taniwha came to Moloka'i with no arrangement of housing or transportation. I met them at the airport on Saturday morning and temporarily adopted the team and took care of them also. Until next year, aloha!! --The Horner Ohana
